The dancefloor is a shared space where the vibe is built by everyone moving together. Knowing the basic etiquette keeps the energy high and the night smooth.

First, respect personal space. Keep a comfortable distance, especially when the beat drops hard. If the crowd gets dense, step back a beat and let the flow open up before you move in.

Second, read the crowd and the DJ. If the music is building, let the momentum carry you; don’t cut in front of someone who’s already in the groove. When the track changes, give the floor a moment to reset before you launch into a new move.

Finally, be mindful of lights and phones. Keep screens dim and avoid flashing them at the DJ booth or other dancers. A quick glance is fine, but a bright screen can break the immersion for everyone around you.
